In the movie Hungry Rabbit Jumps, Nicolas Cage plays the role Nick Gerard, a man who, after his wife is assaulted, enlists the services of a vigilante group to help him settle the score.

The Hungry Rabbit Jumps is an upcoming drama thriller directed by Roger Donaldson (who once brought us the Bank Job based on a script by Robert Tannen. The film is starring Nicolas Cage, January Jones, Guy Pearce, Harold Perrineau, Jennifer Carpenter. There's no official release date, but it should be released in 2011.

Plot:
"The story takes place in New Orleans and follows a man (Nicolas Cage) desperate for vengeance after his wife (January Jones) is the victim of a brutal crime. In his effort to achieve retribution, he gets tangled up with an underground vigilante group."

Let's hope that Nicolas Cage's performance will be as great as in Bad Lieutenant. If Nicolas Cage shows some real dedication to his role, this film could indeed be a winner!
